Lubranos Trattoria is hands-down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to in New Jersey—nothing else even comes close. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and incredible service (Joe was the server) set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The calamari was perfection—light, crisp, and impossibly tender, with a balsamic flavor that instantly told me I was in for something special. Then came the chicken parm special, and I can honestly say it was the best chicken parm I’ve ever had. Perfectly breaded, beautifully sauced, and topped with just the right amount of melted cheese… every bite was heavenly. And the true standout? The burrata ravioli. I’m still thinking about it. Creamy, delicate, and bursting with rich flavor—this dish alone is worth the trip. Lubranos Trattoria delivers excellence on every plate. If you’re looking for authentic, top-tier Italian cuisine, look no further. I can’t wait to come back!

Lubrano’s Trattoria never disappoints. The food is absolutely amazing — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. But what really made our night stand out was the exceptional service from Nico. He went above and beyond the entire evening, from his recommendations to his attention to detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience. Me and my friends had an incredible time, and we left already talking about when we’re coming back. Highly recommend!

came here for the first time off of a recommendation of my older sister and it did not disappoint! our server was Alessia, she was so knowledgeable of the menu and specials and was so sweet! we got the fried calamari & nonnas meatballs to start and it was AMAZING literally scraped the bowls clean and then had the house salads (raspberry dressing was so good) and then I got the Gnocchi Margarita and my boyfriend got the Shrimp Penne Aurora, both dishes were very generously plated for the price as well. The pull apart garlic rosemary bread was also such a good way for us to soak up the extra sauce that came with the meatballs. We were so stuffed we had like 6 to go bags packed but still had room for dessert and got a house made tiramisu, it was huge and one of the best I’ve had! Our bill was under $100 for everything we got and the quality of the food was amazing. Will definitely be coming back to try new appetizers and dishes on the menu & bring a bottle of wine next time. Thank you LuBrano’s for a great date night!!!! <3

Exceptional. Exquisite. Bravo. Man, service was impeccable, professional, and attentive. It felt like fine dining attention to detail and presentation. We had Nonna's meatball starter. Was superb. Probably could've just ordered that as the meal. Everything is so fresh and homemade. The marinara and trifecta of cheeses was simply phenomenal. We got pizzas to follow and they did not disappoint. Perfect crust with a slight crunch and bend, perfect cheese, delicious sauce. I got pepperoni and cherry peppers and that was a great combo, my date got Italian sausage pizza and raved as well. Highly recommend. Ambience is very nice and I almost forgot the complimentary warm bread and herbed olive oil was so good. Perfect experience.

My review is about 5 visits too late… but Lubrano’s is absolutely some of the best Italian around. I am a stickler for good Italian food and this place is the real deal. Genuinely excellent food, consistent quality, and great service. Right out the gate, the bread with dipping oil is amazing— that’s always a great sign. For appetizers, we’ve had the fried mozzarella, clams casino, artichokes, eggplant, spicy shrimp, meatballs… all truly delicious. And I have to say - NO ONE seems to know how to make a good meatball. But these guys have got it down pat! For main course, I have tried multiple pasta dishes (spicy rigatoni, meat sauce, vodka sauce), but have learned to always add a ball of burrata Amazing, every time. For dessert, I highly recommend their cappuccino and the Nutella Cheesecake. Their homemade gelato is also a delight. I just brought a group of 10 last night and now they are all obsessed and can’t wait to go back. In fact, two of them went again tonight Just goes to show you how great Lubrano’s really is! 100/10 - see you soon!

Friendly and outstanding service. Jimmy is so outgoing and welcoming. The food is delicious. You can grab a slice of pizza ( crust is perfection) and boardwalk lemonade ( addicting) or dine in for some incredible food made with love. Manicotti The portions are generous and the atmosphere is festive.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic Italian spot! Lubrano’s Trattoria delivers on every level — food, service, and value. We started with the focaccia bread (seriously, don’t skip it…I know some people don’t want to fill up on bread, but just try it! With the spice/olive oil mix to dip) and 1/2 dozen clams oreganata. The clams were incredibly tender and the oreganata topping was some of the best I’ve ever had. For dinner, I had the rigatoni alla vodka — and as a self-proclaimed vodka sauce snob, I was very impressed. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My dad ordered the parmigiana trio (chicken, veal, and shrimp) and it was excellent. All entrees come with a fresh garden salad — highly recommend trying the balsamic blue cheese dressing, it’s their signature and it’s amazing. Service here is top tier. Our server was attentive, friendly, and timed the courses beautifully so we never felt rushed. It’s BYOB, which is a great perk, and there’s a liquor store conveniently right next door. Big bonus: they even had root beer for my dad, which made him very happy. Another huge plus — there’s a big parking lot, which makes getting in and out super easy, especially during busy hours. The portions are huge (easily enough for leftovers), prices are super reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still has that elevated, trattoria-style charm. They also offer pizza and slices at the counter if you’re looking for something more casual. Highly recommend — just be sure to make a reservation!
